Mousses NibsFoams

The foams used in production of fenders and floats are polyethylene foams, physically reticulated, composed of closed cells structure (no moisture absorption causing a loss of buoyancy), softened to EVA (differed from restitution of bounced during berthing), sized to dissipate the energy level required. Only the physical reticulation of Gamma rays gives to the polyolefin foam its quality to get the original form back, making durable the life of the product. Densities proposed 30, 50, 70, 100, 140 & 170 kg / m³.

The foams used in subsea Floats are syntactic foams, based on polyurethane resin or epoxy loaded with glass beads or macro spheres to guarantee continued use at depths of up to -4000 meters.

Polyurethanes

Polyurethane coatings sprayed on our products are part of our range Nibraprène ®. This range unites a set of polyurethane resins of type polyether (for resistance to hydrolysis), reinforced high tenacity polyester fabrics if necessary, wound simultaneously with the projection of the coating. This range includes a range of hardness from 80 Shore A to 75 Shore D.

Polyuréthane

The polyurethane coatings casted on our products are made from Nibraprène ® (polyurethane of type polyester), polyether, polycaprolactone, or other on study. Choosing the type can give the product a resistance adapted to the types of use (sea water, hydrocarbon, different chemical products …). Hardness proposed 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 95 shore A, and 50, 60, 75 shore D.

Textile reinforcements

The textile reinforcements (used in sprayed coatings) are created from high tenacity polyester threads, resistant to seawater. They are woven with a 2D geometry allowing to take radial and transverse efforts induced by the efforts due to the compression of products. The widths used are 100, 200, 300, 400 mm, …

Metal structures

Some of our products include a metal structure (axis, flange, support, box, accessories …) this manufacturing step is performed internally by the company ACTM3 (sister company of France NIBS).
