The dock mobile fenders of NIBS France are designed for maximum lifetime. Their production responds to the quality standard ISO 9001. The high-end materials make it a standard guarantee of safety during docking operations. Polyolefin foam of polyethylene, physically reticulated, is associated with a coating of polyurethane resin (prepolymer + amine) Nibraprène ®, solvent, hot sprayed with the polyamide fiber reinforcement rip stop. This combination allows realizing the products of high quality guaranteed. This manufacturing concept allows NIBS fenders to undergo significant compression cycles without degradation of baseline characteristics. In order to increase lifetime of NIBS France’s fenders, the coating has a layer of finish, ensuring the eraser function of wear.

The dimensions and performance are based on the energy dissipated, calculated with the characteristics of the largest and smallest ship accosting. After determining the said energy, it remains to validate the choice of the components of the docking solution (foam density of 30 to 140 kg / m³ type of defense, size, distance between the defenses, coating thickness, …) . This study is essential in order to achieve a viable equipment that will perfectly match the needs of the user, while respecting the technical data (allowable surface pressure, spacing with the platform approach angle of the vessel geometry of the hull. ..)

All our mobile fenders can be mounted fixed on quay, floating or hung on the boat hull. For mounting on concrete dock, it is advisable to install a sliding plate, high density polyethylene (HDPE) to minimize wear of the coating of the defense.

All our mobile fenders can be repaired and remanufactured in our workshops, if the state of degradation requires. Onsite repair may also be envisaged depending on the operations to be performed.

Chain passing through Fenders

The fenders with chain passing through are the ​​most frequently made fenders. They are commonly mounted on dock, with establishment of a sliding plate (HDPE). Depending from their size, they can also be used as “pare-battage” (hung on hull boat fenders) of small and large vessels. This kind of fenders accepts rotation thanks to two rotating swivels fixed on the sides. (Design for defenses of small, medium and large size)

Steel Axle (turn flange) Fenders

The steel axle fenders have a more luxurious design.This type of dock fenders accept the rotation due to rotating swivel mounted on each of the flanges of the metal shaft. (Design for fenders of medium and large size)

PU Axle Fenders

The PU axle dock fenders are adapted to handling.

With their fully flexible structure, PU axle fenders allows never cause any physical damage (hull depressing, dock degradation, …) but also to avoid sparking caused by contact with metal parts, source of a fire in the offshore environment * (design for fenders of small and medium sizes)

Chain & tire net fenders offer an additional protection.
